1. Purpose
SPOOKY hosts user-generated reports, comments, proposals, and evidence uploads. This page explains how to report copyright concerns, privacy concerns, unsafe content, non-consensual intimate imagery, child-safety issues, doxxing, and other takedown requests.
Use ordinary in-app flags for routine moderation. Use the legal contact channel for rights, safety, or legal notices.
2. Copyright notices
If you believe content on the archive infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the material you want removed and enough information to locate it; your contact information; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law; and a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
The archive may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and may notify the user who posted it. Repeat infringers may lose access.
Before public launch, the operator should register a DMCA designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and publish the exact registered agent information here. This page is a takedown contact workflow, not proof that registration is complete.
3. Counter-notices
If your content was removed for copyright reasons and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address, phone number, and email; and your consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law.
The archive may forward counter-notices to the original complainant and may restore content when legally appropriate.
4. Privacy, safety, and other takedowns
For doxxing, personal information, non-consensual intimate imagery, child safety, harassment, threats, gore, animal harm, evidence that identifies a private person, impersonation, or dangerous ritual/summoning coordination, include the URL, a short explanation, the affected person or right, and any time sensitivity.
The archive may remove, hide, restrict, preserve, or escalate reported content depending on the risk, the law, user safety, and operator protection.
5. Required contact channel
A real monitored legal inbox must be configured before public launch. Do not invite public users until the operator can receive and respond to legal, copyright, privacy, and safety notices.
6. Misuse of takedown tools
Do not submit false, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith takedown notices. Misrepresentations may create legal liability and may result in account action.
